2011 October 13 – Do the Hokey Pokey Today!

October 13, 2011

Remember it?  How bout Polly Wolly Doodle All The Day?  Take some time to sing a few silly songs today!  Teach them to your kids if they don’t already know them.  Get inspired and maybe even make up one or two original verses while you’re at it!  We’ve listed some songs below you might remember, but sing and teach the ones you know best from your own childhood – and share them with us in the comments!

Flea, flea fly

Miss Mary Mack

I knew an old woman who swallowed a fly

There’s a hole in the bottom of the sea

Do your ears hang low?

John Jacob Jinglehammersmith (that’s my name too!)

A rum sum sum

She’ll be comin’ around the mountain when she comes (for when you’re running late of course, when else!?)

Keep the list going and leave us a comment about silly or fun songs you know or have made up!
