Proclamations

Last year, Mayors of New York City and Denver, CO and the Govenor of Colorado signed AP Month proclamations proclaiming October to be AP Month in their respective cities and state.

Help us spread the word about AP across the US and around the world by requesting an AP Month Proclamation in your area!

Our AP Month Toolkit contains a sample AP Month Proclamation, a sample AP Month Proclamation request letter and instructions for submitting your request that you can use to send to your local and state officials.  If there’s an API Support Group in your city or state, please contact and coordinate your Proclamation request with the Support Group Leader.
