October 28 – Have a ball!

October 28, 2010

Welcome to AP Month!

Take a ball and your family and head outside.  The cooler air is just right for outdoor brisk activity.

Is baby too small to enjoy outdoors ball playing?  Get out the carrier and go for a walk!

“Babywearing enhances the communication between caregiver and baby. Keeping baby close to you helps you to be in better touch with baby’s cues, and allows you to respond quickly. This is especially important for young babies who are non-verbal. The ability to respond to baby aides in building trust, which is vital to healthy child development.” – Gillian Beerman, Founder & President of Moby Wrap Inc.

We’ve been raking leaf piles and jumping in them and toss leaves all about lately. The kids are so upset when it’s time to go inside.

And still wearing my 33 lbs 14m old frequently when out and about. His face lights up and he comes running to me when he sees the Moby come out. Even my almost 3 y.o. asks to go in it once and awhile still!
